All guest rooms are complete with twin beds with pillow top mattresses, fresh linens, and extra pillows. The bedrooms are all named after important women in our lives.
This room comfortably sleeps 4 and shares access to a full bathroom with guests staying in The Millie. The butter and mint floral colors as well as a beautiful view of the back yard provide a warm and cheery environment. The Kendall is named after Joan’s daughter who inspires us with her imagination and positive attitude.
This large room features sleeping arrangements for 4. It also shares access to a full bathroom with guests staying in The Kendall. Hardwood floors and a lavender and sage color scheme make for a cozy and majestic room. The Millie is named after Jane and Joan’s grandmother who at 94 sets a wonderful life example for others to follow.
This room sleeps 3 guests and features an adorable window seat overlooking the large front yard. A garden green, white and pink floral design gives off a very calming and peaceful feeling. The Mae is named after Jane’s mother-in-law who was a very loving person and always enjoyed being with her family.
THE MARY ELLEN
With beds for 3 guests, this room also features a window seat overlooking the large front yard. A blue and white color combination makes for a very cool and crisp room. The Mary Ellen is named after Jane and Joan’s mother who inspired them to be the women they are today.
KITCHEN AND DINING
Our kitchen is stocked with all the necessities for your weekend retreat. We have one refrigerator just for you that is always full of complimentary soft drinks and water. Coffee and tea are also available for those who need a bit more caffeine to inspire you! Although we will handle all the cooking for you, there is a microwave for popcorn as well as a host of other snacks to which you can help yourself throughout your stay. The dining area seats everyone comfortably at high top tables with swivel chairs. Enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the backyard while you relax with a great meal.
Our huge workrooms provide plenty of space to spread out all your supplies and really get into your work. Each person has their own 5 foot work table and trash can. Individual targeted and focused lighting keeps each work table bright and well lit. The workrooms feature flat panel televisions that can show endless DVD’s or even connect to a computer for a presentation. A CD player is also available for music. Our built in desk features a laptop computer with free internet access. We also have a Cricut with several cartridges for making that special shape or font.
We have 3 ½ bathrooms at the Hideaway that feature showers or tubs (for those who like to take a long soak!) and towels are provided for you. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are also provided.
There are plenty of great things outside the house as well. The Sisters’ Hideaway sits on 3.5 acres of land that is perfect for strolling around. Porches on the front and back of the house feature rocking chairs and a hammock in case you want to just sit and enjoy the peacefulness of the country.
